Deaf Democrats of America

About Deaf Democrats of America

Profoundly Deaf people who use American Sign Language (ASL) aren't a large bloc of voters but it's enough to possibly determine a close election. Deaf people have largely been ignored by the political world for a number of reasons. The main reason is people do not understand the Deaf community. People do not understand how to get accommodations for the Deaf. It's rare that a political advertisement on television is closed captioned. It's even more rare that there is an ASL interpreter at fundraisers, rallies, town halls and debates. Deaf people, understandably, feel left out therefore they don't turn out to vote. Our vision here at DDA is to change that!

We want Democrats to win. We want Democrats to be in the White House. We want a Democratic Congress and Democratic Governors. We're one hundred percent sure if you use our services we will make it easier for you and your campaign to win by including a bloc of voters that have been ignored for a long time. Please read Our Services to find out what we can do for you and how you can help your campaign.
